Connect Your Shop
During onboarding, enter your TikTok Shop name and optional shop ID. This creates your workspace.

Chrome Extension Setup
Download the Extension
Download the extension package from your dashboard or the Chrome Web Store (coming soon). For now, load it as an unpacked extension via chrome://extensions.
Generate an API Key
Go to Dashboard → API Keys and create a new key. Copy it immediately — it won't be shown again.
Configure the Extension
Click the ScanShield icon in your browser toolbar, go to Settings, and paste your API key. The extension will verify the connection automatically.
Start Scanning
Navigate to any product listing in TikTok Seller Center. Click the floating ScanShield button to scan the listing, or enable auto-scan in settings.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is ScanShield a guarantee against TikTok violations?
No. ScanShield is a compliance assistance tool that helps identify potential issues based on known TikTok policies. It significantly reduces risk but cannot guarantee zero violations, as policies change and enforcement can vary.
How often are compliance rules updated?
Our rules engine is updated within 48 hours of any published TikTok policy change. We monitor official TikTok Seller Center announcements and enforcement patterns continuously.
Can I scan listings from platforms other than TikTok?
Currently, ScanShield is optimized for TikTok Shop compliance. Support for Amazon, Shopify, and other platforms is on our roadmap.
What happens when my Starter trial ends?
The 14-day free trial applies to the Starter plan only. After 14 days, you'll need to confirm a paid Starter subscription (or upgrade to Growth/Scale) to continue scanning. Growth and Scale plans do not have a trial — they start immediately upon checkout. Your existing scan history and findings remain accessible regardless of plan.
Is my listing data shared with anyone?
Never. Your listing data is processed solely for compliance analysis and is never shared with third parties, competitors, or TikTok itself. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I test payments?
In sandbox mode, Paddle provides test payment methods automatically during checkout. No real charges are made. Once you go live, real payments are processed securely through Paddle.
